A village with history - demonstrably here humans live
since that 14. Century, whereby first the name Ottarsjoe
was used.
The Ottfjaellet rises majestically over the village. A
legend tells throw a stone from the Ottfjaellet down of
the giant Ott. it to the church after Undersåker.
Because it was disturbed in the sleep by the bells.
The first forstweg was built 1912, the correct road
came for 1932. The first tourist came however already
1909 to Ottsjoe. It was Mrs. Arewdsson and it moved
with a friend of Ånn here. Today there is two
Hotels/Pensionate and an active Waffelstube. Many the
inhabitant offer huts and vacation homes.
We have also a land buyer. There is a rich offer for
anglers and Fischer. Schneescooter ways lead into all
directions. It is the village for that the peace and
the certain extra searches!
